Do you want us to fit a DCC decoder in your own locomotives? No problem, we can do that! Simply add the DCC fitting service to your basket and pay for it in the usual way. Our system will send you a form to complete and enclose with your locomotive. No need to work out which decoder you need, we will fit the most appropriate one (unless you have a preference, then we can fit that!)
Remember most 2 car DMU’s will require two decoders so you will need to add 2x decoder fitting service to your basket.
Step 1
You book the DCC decoder fitting service on our website. Our system will send you an email with details of how to post your locomotive to us.
Just add the DCC Decoder Fitting Service to your basket (see below).

Step 2
We receive your locomotives and book them into our system
Step 3
First we will fully inspect and test your locomotive on DC to ensure it works. If any faults are found we will contact you to discuss a repair.
Step 4
We will then carefully fit the correct DCC decoder and retest your locomotive.
Step 5
We carefully repack your locomotive and include all the packaging and instructions from the DCC decoder, before posting it back to you.
This service typically takes 3-5 working days excluding delivery.
Remember: Our price INCLUDES decoder and return postage, there is nothing else to pay!
